Dr. McClure is a California-licensed psychologist (PSY 13572) who has been practicing in Roseville, California, since 1985, when he founded Sunrise Counseling Group. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Medical Psychology (ABMP) and served on the board of directors for the Academy of Medical Psychology, including a four-year term as president.

Dr. McClure holds certification from the APA National College of Psychology in the treatment of alcohol and psychoactive substance abuse. He is a passionate advocate for advancing clinical and medical psychology and promoting its integration into primary behavioral healthcare.

The primary focus of Dr. McClure's practice is clinical psychology. He is a certified Qualified Medical Examiner (QME) in California, providing care for injured workers within the state’s Workers’ Compensation system. Alongside a team of psychologists at Sunrise Psychological Services, Dr. McClure offers both Primary Treating Physician and Secondary Treating Physician services to injured workers.

Additionally, Dr. McClure provides assessments and treatment for a limited number of Medicare patients.
